In developing societies like Egypt, we can not depend only on financial or educational reformations in order to develop ourselves. Since plastic arts are considered very effective on human beings, we (the cultured class) can't accept the ignorance of such important need in our societies. It is a shame that lessons of drawing, painting, music do not exist in many public children schools in Egypt. In Alexandria City on the Mediterranean (since it was decided to revive Bibliotheca Alexandrina) a whole plan of renovation and decoration has been applied to the city. Before that time, a new department (Mural Painting) has begun its works at the faculty of Fine Arts, where students learn how to create art works that deal with architectural surfaces whether interior or exterior locations, using different techniques. A new governor of Alexandria has decided to take advantage of this department by spreading art works all over the city, especially in public places.
